Terms of Service

The rules of the road. We've tried to keep them readable and fair.

Last updated: February 15, 2026

Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Bunzed, you agree to these terms. If you’re using Bunzed on behalf of an organization, you’re agreeing on their behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.

If you don’t agree with these terms, don’t use the service. We’d rather be upfront than bury this in fine print.

What Bunzed provides

Bunzed is a developer workspace platform that lets you deploy services, manage databases, track metrics, and collaborate with your team. The platform is designed to run on your own infrastructure — we provide the software, you provide the servers.

We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee 100% uptime. Software has bugs, servers go down, and deploys sometimes fail. We’ll do our best to keep things running and communicate openly when they’re not.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password and revoke your API keys immediately. Let us know and we’ll help investigate.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Bunzed. Accounts are for individuals — don’t share login credentials. Use team features and role-based access to collaborate with others.

Your content and data

You own everything you put into Bunzed — your code, your databases, your configurations, your data. We don’t claim any ownership or license over your content beyond what’s necessary to provide the service.

We need the right to store, process, and transmit your content to run the platform (e.g., building your Docker images, running your database queries, displaying your dashboards). That’s the extent of it.

You’re responsible for ensuring you have the right to deploy the code and store the data you put on the platform. Don’t deploy anything you don’t have permission to use.

Acceptable use

Use Bunzed for legitimate development and deployment purposes. Don’t use it for anything illegal, abusive, or harmful. Specifically, don’t use Bunzed to host malware or phishing sites, send spam, mine cryptocurrency without disclosure, launch attacks against other systems, or store content that exploits minors.

Don’t attempt to access other users’ data, circumvent rate limits or plan restrictions, or reverse-engineer the platform’s proprietary components. Don’t resell access to Bunzed without our written permission.

If we determine that your usage violates these terms, we may suspend or terminate your account. We’ll try to give you notice first unless the situation is urgent (e.g., active abuse or security threat).

Paid plans and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page — your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.

We may change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Price changes don’t apply to your current billing period. If you don’t agree with new pricing, cancel before the next renewal.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If something went wrong on our end, we’ll make it right. Reach out on Discord and we’ll figure it out.

Service changes and discontinuation

We’re actively building Bunzed and things will change — features will be added, modified, and occasionally removed. We’ll communicate significant changes through our changelog and, for breaking changes, via email.

If we ever shut down Bunzed entirely, we’ll give you at least 90 days’ notice and help you export your data. Since Bunzed runs on your infrastructure, your deployed services and databases are already under your control.

Limitation of liability

Bunzed is provided “as is.” We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet every specific requirement you have.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bunzed’s total liability to you for any claims related to the service is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we’ll notify you via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Previous versions of these terms will be available upon request.
